Motivating employers to provide quality on-the-job training and mentorship can be challenging.
Securing adequate funding and resources for apprenticeship programs is often a significant hurdle.
Tracking and evaluating apprenticeship outcomes to demonstrate program effectiveness can be complex.
Staying current with changing regulations, industry standards, and technological advancements demands flexibility and agility.
EazeMax streamlines the complex process of apprenticeship compliance, ensuring that your organization adheres to the requirements of the Apprentices Act, 1961. EazeMax aids users in fulfilling the obligations of the Apprentice Act 1961, if applicable to their organization.
EazeMax helps you determine whether your organization is required to engage apprentices. According to the Apprentices Act, 1961, any employer with four or more workers can engage apprentices, with mandatory engagement required if the workforce exceeds thirty employees.
The tool ensures that you do not exceed the legal limit of engaging more than 15% of your total workforce as apprentices. It tracks and manages your workforce data to provide real-time insights into your compliance status, helping you avoid penalties and ensuring you meet your apprenticeship obligations.
The platform ensures that you only engage eligible apprentices, as defined by the Act. It monitors the number of workers and automatically calculates the appropriate number of apprentices that your organization must engage, considering the legal minimum and maximum limits.
EazeMax also verifies that apprentices are enrolled in designated trades and that their contracts meet all legal requirements.
EazeMax provides timely information w.r.t the preparation & submission of Apprenticeship contracts. The system ensures that all contracts are accurately completed and submitted to the respective District Apprenticeship office within the mandated seven-day period.
A fine of Rs. 1,000 may be imposed if an employer or any other person:
Engages an apprentice who does not meet the eligibility criteria.
Fails to fulfill the terms of the apprenticeship contract.
Violates any provisions of the Apprentices Act.
Refuses to appoint the required number of apprentices.
If an employer does not maintain the mandated number of apprentices, a one-month notice is given. After this period, a fine of Rs.500 is levied for the first three months, increasing to Rs.1,000 per month until the required positions are filled.
