  • Unable to fulfil the terms of the apprenticeship contract.
  • Engages an apprentice who does not fulfill the eligibility criteria.
  • Breaches any provisions of the Apprentices Act.
  • Denies appointing the required number of apprentices.

A 1 month notice shall be furnished to the employer if it does not keep the obligated number of apprentices. Post this period, Rs 500 fines are imposed for the first three months, increasing to Rs 1,000 per month until the required positions are filled.
